General Terms and Conditions for our Babysitting Service:
The following general terms and conditions apply to our babysitting service:
Rates and Payments:
- Payment should be made in advance for online bookings, with a maximum lead time of 3 hours before the scheduled service. In the case of cash payments or using the swipe machine, payment is expected to be settled prior to the customer’s departure, ensuring a professional transaction process.
- Our rates are calculated based on whole hours, and after the initial 15 minutes of the requested rate, a full hourly rate will be automatically charged. Any additional hours must be paid immediately.”
- Payment can be made in cash or electronically, as agreed upon in advance.
Reservations and Cancellations:
- Reservations should be made well in advance to ensure availability.
- Cancellations without any charges must be requested at least 5 days in advance, and this policy applies in reverse if the babysitter cancels and the company cannot provide an alternative babysitter, in accordance with our professional guidelines.
- A cancellation made 24 hours before the scheduled service will result in the customer being responsible for a 25% fee based on the reserved booking. This policy applies in reverse as well, should the babysitter cancel, and the company is unable to provide an alternative babysitter, in adherence to our professional guidelines.
- In the event of a last-minute cancellation of a booked service, the customer is required to pay 50% of the reserved service fee, and this policy applies in reverse if the babysitter cancels and the company cannot provide an alternative babysitter, in accordance with our professional guidelines.
Liability:
- Our babysitters are carefully selected and screened, but we do not accept liability for accidents, incidents, or damage.
- Parents should provide relevant medical information and emergency contact details.
Respect for Privacy:
- Parents and babysitters should respect each other’s privacy and refrain from sharing confidential information.
Complaints and Disputes:
- Any complaints or disputes should be reported in writing and will be investigated in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- By using our babysitting service, you agree to the above disclaimer and general terms and conditions. We aim to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all parties involved.
- Limited Liability: The transportation service is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages occurring during the transportation of children unless such incidents are a direct result of the service’s negligence.
- Parental Responsibility: Parents or guardians are responsible for the behavior and safety of their children before and after transportation service hours. The service is not responsible for actions or incidents that occur outside of the transportation service.
- Variations in Schedule: The service may occasionally experience delays or changes in the schedule due to unforeseen circumstances. The service will make reasonable efforts to notify parents or guardians of any delays.
- Emergencies: In case of medical emergencies or accidents involving a child, the service will make every effort to contact parents or guardians. Parents or guardians must provide current emergency contact information.
- Allergies and Medical Conditions: Parents or guardians are responsible for informing the service about any allergies, medical conditions, or medications that may affect a child’s health or safety during transportation.
- Personal Belongings: The service is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal belongings of children. Parents or guardians are advised to ensure that their children’s belongings are labeled and secure.
- Service Changes: The transportation service reserves the right to change routes, schedules, or services, provided reasonable notice is given to parents or guardians.
- Weather Conditions: The service may be affected by adverse weather conditions that may lead to delays or disruptions. Parents or guardians should take this into consideration.
- Termination of Service: The transportation service reserves the right to terminate the service for children who repeatedly violate rules of conduct or pose a risk to the safety and well-being of others.
- Dispute Resolution: In the event of disputes or conflicts related to the transportation service, the service provider and parents or guardians agree to attempt to resolve the issue through amicable discussions and mediation before legal action is taken.
- Payment Obligation: The customer (parents/guardians) commits to paying the agreed-upon rates for the child transportation service. Payments must be made according to the agreed-upon schedule.
- Payment Methods: The carrier will inform the customer about accepted payment methods. The customer must use the accepted methods to make payments.
- Late Payments: Late payments may subject the customer to additional fees or interest, as specified in the agreement. The carrier reserves the right to suspend the service for repeated late payments.
- Rate Changes: The carrier reserves the right to make rate changes with reasonable notice to the customer. The customer will be informed of any rate changes before they take effect.
- Prepayment: The customer is required to prepay rates for the upcoming period, as agreed upon in the contract. The carrier reserves the right to suspend the service if prepayment is not received on time
