Hello, families!

My name is Keily, I am Colombian, 29 years old, and I have over 10 years of experience in childcare and child development. My passion for childhood led me to train as a Professional in Early Childhood Education, Certified Early Childhood Educator, and Technician in Comprehensive Early Childhood Care in Colombia.

Since December 2022, I have been living in Bonaire, and I am currently in my first year of MBO level 2. My native language is Spanish, and I understand and speak a little Papiamento. English and Dutch are not my strengths, but I can use technology as a communication tool. However, when it comes to children, language is not a barrier for me—through gestures and simple words, I can make myself understood, and even more so through play. I am actively working on improving my language skills to enhance my communication with families.

From a young age, I understood that every child is a world full of curiosity, creativity, and emotions waiting to be discovered. That is why my focus is not only on care but also on comprehensive stimulation, promoting learning through play, exploration, and affection. I firmly believe that the early years of life are essential for the development of cognitive, emotional, and social skills.

My experience includes working with children aged 1 to 5 years old, although I feel qualified to work with children of all ages. I have worked in educational and childcare settings, creating personalized activities that enhance their motor skills, autonomy, and confidence. I specialize in providing a safe, loving, and structured environment where every child can grow happily and feel secure.

I consider myself a responsible, proactive, creative, and respectful person, with a strong ability to adapt and a deep love for serving others. For me, working with children is not just a job—it is a passion and a commitment to their well-being and happiness.
